Position Overview:
Provide programmatic oversight and coordination of more than 20 DTO initiatives, ensuring alignment with CBP’s statutory obligations and digital transformation priorities. This role blends administrative and operational management with direct leadership of at least one transformation effort. The Program Manager coordinates across multiple offices, develops and tracks deliverables, prepares status reports, and serves as a primary liaison to senior stakeholders, ensuring initiatives meet requirements under HISP, GSDI, and OMB guidance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, and risks across multiple concurrent initiatives 
  • Coordinate cross-office collaboration (Chief AI Office, Office of IT, Trusted Traveler Program, ACE PMO, etc.).
  • Lead at least one transformation initiative directly, ensuring deliverables (e.g., AI use case repository, innovation challenge, service redesign) are executed.
  • Prepare monthly status reports, surge task execution plans, and performance trackers.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, including executive briefings and governance reviews.
  • Incorporate CX/Human Capital strategies to ensure initiatives improve both frontline officer experience and public service delivery.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Public Administration, or related field; PMP or Agile certification highly desired.
  • 5–8 years of experience in federal program or project management.
  • Proven record managing multi-workstream programs with high-level federal visibility.
  • Experience briefing executive stakeholders and working within statutory/OMB frameworks.
  • Ability to balance administrative compliance with hands-on leadership of CX/tech initiatives.
